Multiple Option Product
This program allows an employer to offer two health care coverage options at enrollment:
- An HMO plan provided by HMO Blue® Texas
- A BlueChoice® PPO, BlueEdgeSM HSA or BlueEdgeSM HCA
The advantages of the Multiple Option Product include:
- A choice of health care plan options for members
- Health care coverage options that may lower the overall member cost for benefit expenses
- Guest Membership privileges for HMO members
- BlueCard® program which provides access to PPO provider discounts nationwide for PPO, BlueEdge HSA and BlueEdge HCA members
